A senior academic and international health systems/health management consultant with over 40 years of low-middle income countries experience. His skills and interest are in the areas of health systems development, health governance, leadership and negotiations, human resources development, training and education, health policy, planning and management.
• Responsible for the organisation, running, management and implementation of the curriculum of two postgraduate training programmes, i.e. Health Management, Planning and Policy; and Hospital Management. • Responsible for the organisation, management and implementation of the curriculum of two postgraduate training programmes. • Take lead in the assessment and evaluation of different component of the courses • Teach health policy development, health systems development and sessions on mental health. • Module convener for: Foundations of International Health, Human Resources Planning and Management, Training and Development for Health Professionals, and Planning and Management for Conflict and Emergencies • Take a lead in the coordination and overseeing of 4 Post-graduate Training Programmes and Intercalated BSc Programme. • Take lead in the Knowledge Management and International Capacity Development Programmes. • Take lead in the assessment and evaluation of different component of the courses, supervise postgraduate students. Teach health policy development, health systems development and sessions on mental health. • Research in capacity development, policy process and international health systems • Technicakl support in the form of consultancy to international organisations and institutions
