At Kubrick, I gained a practical understanding of deriving business insights from complex and diverse data. This included the application of modern cloud architecture and provision of quality assurance in both code and data for cloud enabled data pipelines. These skills empower me to provide excellent end to end / bi-directional comprehension, translation, and communication of technical solutions to solve business requirements. My technical training included: • Solution-driven multi-platformed data analytics, with experience in working effectively on very large data – both on structured legacy RDBMS as well modern cloud un/semi-structured systems • Cloud architectural design solutions with a focus on secure and cost-effective data pipelines and orchestration • Data visualisation coupled with understanding of causality and inference enabling me to make evidence-based recommendations to business stakeholders • Practical application of modern cloud data pipelines and ELT solutions leveraging my knowledge in Snowflake, Databricks, DBT and Airflow amongst others These skills underpin my understanding of the design, quality assurance, collaborative implementation, and maintenance of an effective Data and Analytics Engineering strategy. I have put this experience into practice via in real-world client projects. Projects include building a Data Quality dashboard for stakeholders using SQL and data vizualisation tooling, and harnessing the Analytics Engineering tooling stack of Snowflake, DBT and Orchestration via Airflow to build idempotent data pipelines in the cloud, thus creating an optimal framework for sustainable impact on an overall data culture.
