For the past 6 years, I practiced mostly employment law, initially on the defense side defending small businesses in my community, but later switched to plaintiffs' practice, helping employees recover wage theft in individual cases, PAGA and class actions. Prior to my employment practice, I did civil and business litigation which I enjoyed very much. I would say that my litigation style is fair, firm, and practical, with a little bit of sass. I strongly believe in a cordial and supportive work environment where everyone can be themselves and thrive as individuals, and eventually as a team. To me, the most important thing about work are the people you work with. Building my team is important to me. I don't believe the practice of law has to be miserable. I enjoy my work tremendously and I find it rewarding. I have met so many good attorneys including opposing counsel that I respect and have much to learn from. I enjoy nerding out about the nuances in the law, the ever changing landscape and new developments of PAGA and other areas of employment law. The feeling of working really really hard on a case with my team and seeing all the pieces come together motivates me to continue everyday.
