I am currently pursuing a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree at UCL with a passion for clinical medicine and public health systems. After shadowing experience at Guy’s and St Thomas’ Trust, I was exposed to surgeries, clinics, and ward rounds, fostering a deeper understanding of the NHS and the role of a doctor. In the future, I am committed to improving global health equity through enhanced access to safe surgical care. With experience and a strong foundation in project management, data collection, and robotics, with additional experience in social impact initiatives, I hope to become equipped as a capable Doctor.
• Shadowed a consultant plastic surgeon at Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust for two months. • Observed a variety of surgeries, clinics, and ward rounds, gaining insight into the NHS operations. • Developed a clearer understanding of the medical profession and reinforced my aspiration to become a doctor.
