Hello, my name is Maxwell Murphy; I am a Computer Science Major from Tuskegee University and plan on finishing an electrical engineering degree. I am a Boeing, NACME and TMCF Scholar. I am a very creative student who is passionate about technology and has set many goals for myself. I work as a System Engineer intern in the AVID/REP lab for the Boeing Company (Summers of 2022, 2023 and 2024). I stay very determined in the goals I set for myself, and I would like to get any opportunities to get more experience. I am also a young entrepreneur with a small business in 3D printing and artwork. I want a future in computer science and electrical engineering to develop more opportunities in my passion of finding new ways to use solar technology. I am a recipient of the prestigious NACME scholarship – an award given by a network of leading corporations to recognize the excellence of under-represented minorities in engineering and computer science.

Assisted with on-campus recruiting events by greeting and informing students about Boeing opportunities. Collected and reviewed résumés, guided candidates through the application process, and helped coordinate interviews.
As a system engineer intern with the AVID/REP lab team, I was part of the digital capabilities team. I worked as a system engineer with 3D printers and laser scanning. In the AVID/REP lab, I did 3D scanning and worked with STLs using PolyWorks. I also gave lab tours with the team to show and explain our laser scanners and use our VR headset to show a training simulation that trains engineers to work on a plane.
I work in the REP and AVID lab, 3D printing and 3D scanning.
