    Aggadah Try It Books is the Jewish Speculative Fiction imprint of Madness Heart Press. Books are sold in both print and digital formats. My responsibilities include putting out open calls for new work, voting on submissions, working with authors to copy edit their manuscripts, writing blurbs for the back cover and selecting cover art. I also maintaining the Twitter (X) account.

    Founded in 2015, Door Is A Jar Literary Magazine is a quarterly print and digital publication of poetry, short fiction and nonfiction, art, drama, and book reviews by contributors from all around the world. Door Is A Jar is sold the newsstand with the other literary magazines in Barnes & Nobles, Books-A-Million, as well as in independent book and airports nationwide. We have published 33 issues as of Winter 2024. I gather and review submissions, coordinate genre editors and interns, send out permission release agreement forms, copyedit individual pieces, and select which pieces are nominated for literary awards. I finalize design elements through Photoshop and InDesign, and review proofs sent from the printer, Intellicor Communications. The magazine is distributed by LSC Communications. I use the list management software, QuickFill CWC to fulfill individual orders and subscriptions through our website. I maintain the website, blog, the newsletter sent out to our mailing list via MailChimp, and social media platforms (At the end of 2024 our Twitter (X) account was the top 30 account of more than 1,000 literary magazines according to list compiled by Brecht De Poortere). I host quarterly reading events for our contributors and edit the videos for our YouTube Channel Door Is A Jar attends writing conventions and festivals, and we are a member of The Community of Literary Magazine and Publishers (CLMP) and LitNet.

I query for and collect submissions and post on the website. I also provide feedback for submissions for CLASHBooks (clashbooks.com) and help sell books at conventions.

I examined reader demographics for upcoming author, investigated website possibilities for promotion and managed several social media sites. I helped develop a video interview series, participated in guerrilla marketing video and assisted with the ebook line.
