As the Director of Programming for Accelerate, I helped to shape student entrepreneurship opportunities at Wentworth by developing/delivering programs and resources relevant to existing resident startup teams as well as the incoming students who are the next generation of emerging innovators. The primary focus of WIT's student entrepreneurs is product creation and social impact. Accelerate, Wentworth Innovation + Entrepreneurship Center, was established in 2012 and offers programming to foster student engagement around innovation and entrepreneurship around the strong maker culture that is a hallmark of WIT.
