I am a returning United Nations Bureau intern with the Inter Press Service (IPS), where I contribute as a Global Trade & and Supply Chain Analyst Intern. My work focuses on researching and analyzing global trade, supply chains, maritime commerce, critical minerals, Agriculture, investment trends, economic development, geopolitical risk, and the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD), drawing on data and reports from UN agencies and international organizations. Currently pursuing dual majors in Economics and English at the University at Buffalo, I combine data-driven analysis with strong written communication skills to translate complex economic, trade, and policy developments into clear and actionable insights. My interests include global trade, supply chain resilience, maritime transportation, international economic policy, economic development, geopolitical risk, and process improvement (continuous optimization through Kaizen principles and the elimination of the seven forms of waste). Through research, data analysis, and strategic communication, I seek to better understand how global supply chains, trade networks, institutions, and policy decisions shape the global economy down to the line haul on the highway, the reefer at your local grocery store, the cargo ship at the brooklyn port, or the policy makers at the World Trade Organization (WTO).
