The company forms part of the MDAX technology group, DMG Mori AG. As one of Germany's largest manufacturers of cutting machine tools, the company is a global leader of CNC-controlled lathes and milling machines. Within the context of production planning, the thesis analyzes the decision-making processes concerning the assembly clearance of milling machines. The findings reveal various strategies of production planners, attempting to cope with the inherent divide between plan and actual.
My main responsibilities at Innovayt included finding and selecting public finance instruments, which are relevant to our client base. This has given me the opportunity to build extensive knowledge in regards to how European and nordic public finance instruments work. Moreover, I drafted grant applications for our clients, seeking public funds to finance the consulting services during more complex application processes, as is the case with funding programs under the increasingly competitive Horizon 2020 instrument. My work at Innovayt has taught me to critically evaluate a company's viability for public funding.
