- Lead of a group of 20 engineering designers and contractors whose mission is to design interior cabinets engineering drawings (2D, 3D) of the Global 6000 business aircraft
- Lead of a group of 25 analysts, unionized employees and contractors whose mission is to identify items to be tested, manufacture samples, perform testing and create technical reports in order to ensure compliance with flammability requirements for the Global 5000/6000/7000/8000 business aircraft interiors.
- Lead of a group of 8 analysts and specialists whose mission is to ensure the integrity and safety of the Global 5000/6000 business aircraft interiors - Responsible for hiring, performance evaluation and workforce planning - Support to analysts and specialists in order to ensure that the goals (i.e: Key Process Indicators - KPI(s)) of the department are met - Ensure project budgets are respected and that appropriate justifications are compiled and presented to management when exceeding Key Achievements - Managed a cycle time reduction project which led to an efficiency gain of 15% inside the department (costs reduction of more than 250K $ per year) - Coordinated the implementation of a capacity tool which enabled better workforce forecast within the Product Engineering – Definition team (approx. 150 employees). Led project governance, workshop and provided leadership to ensure milestones due date were respected - Put in place a project scheduling methodology, which increased department milestones adherence from 60% (in 2013) to 90% (in 2014)
- Responsible to ensure the safety of the Global 5000/6000 aircraft interiors - Review of engineering drawings and their compliance with regulations of international civil aviation authorities/organizations, including, but not limited to, Transport Canada, FAA, EASA and ICAO - Perform aircraft interior safety inspection with Transport Canada delegates - Create Technical reports (Design Compliance Report, Test Report) - Manage certification projects: schedule, ensure adherence to plan, identify risks and highlight to Bombardier Aerospace management if required - Develop and sustain relationship with authorities - Perform hazard assessment as technical lead in Continuing Airworthiness investigation - Support sales team with feasibility studies of customer requests - Provide certification expertise to other departments within the Global Completion Center Key Achievements - Participation into more than 40 aircraft certification projects and 60 interior safety inspections. Led and participated into major certification projects, such as the introduction of a new cockpit platform and of a new seat program. - Certification trainings given to groups of more than 50 employees - Accelerated nomination as an Occupant Safety Specialist responsible for Certification reports approval.
- Developed a new algorithm to help detect anomalies in gas turbine engines and therefore optimize engine availability and reliability
- Created a quality manual for LEASECO engine department in accordance with requirements of Transport Canada Maintenance Policy Manual (MPM), ISO 9000:2000, AS9110, Pratt & Whitney and industry standards
