● Elected by my peers to stand for and lead the Student Government Association (SGA) by communicating, working hard and inspiring others. ● Complete 50+ hours of community service including coordinating and working school Open House, Friendsgiving for entire school, set up several school parties including Fall Dance, Valentine’s Day dance, Food Drive, set up various school trips. ● Led weekly Student Government Associations meetings and try to focus on boosting our school community and spirit. ● Act as liaison between students and teachers
● Setting up dates during the school year for climate change. Our goal for these selected dates is to better improve on our ecological footprint. For example, on Energy Day, we turned off the lights for the full day to save on electricity and depended on the sunlight for us to see and rely less on our devices.
● Worked in small groups and helped the teacher to teach kids how to read, write and use their cognitive abilities to further develop their learning. ● Received a 5 out of 5 in my evaluation of work rating at the end of SYEP.
● Learning about writing resumes and the work field in general to understand what we want to become and to practice our work ethic. We also conducted & took part in mock interviews. We attend different offices in Manhattan, and we collaborate with Dot Dash to achieve these goals.
● Work collectively with club members to create interview questions for all Podcast interviews. ● Speak to other artists and conduct interviews on school Podcast weekly
