I am a Process Control Engineer at ND Paper where I work to continuously improve the safety, efficiency, and reliability of a paper machine and its finishing room. I utilize PLC and DCS programming software to continuously improve and optimize the process. I utilize these tools to assist in troubleshooting complex problems and work together with the electrical team to get machines working properly. I have experience in both Allen Bradley (Rockwell) PLCs, Siemens PLCs and Honeywell TDC 3000 DCS. Additionally,I developed and improve HMIs to add more visibility and functionality to operator controls, and create troubleshooting menus with the HMI to facilitate efficient troubleshooting. I am excited to continue to grow as a process control engineer and help modernize existing equipment to continue to optimize performance. My previous role was Nuclear Test engineer and I learned a lot about getting work done safely and efficiently under pressure. I have been recognized by my employers multiple times as a key contributor and have worked tirelessly to achieve my goals. I am an alumni of Montana State University where I am studied Chemical Engineering and graduated in May 2023. I am a hardworking and dedicated individual who is relentless in the pursuit of my goals. Currently my goals are to be better than I was the day before, continue to learn programming and to continue to expand my horizons as an engineer. I have been working since I was 14, where I worked to maintain and create hiking trails. These experiences have helped to develop and shape my values and aspirations through encouraging collaboration and constructive criticism.
