In my current role as Team Leader IT Datacenter at EV Group GmbH, I manage datacenter operations for the entire corporation, including all subsidiaries. I lead a team of 10 employees, including members based in the USA. My responsibilities encompass controlling, accounting, and budgeting, as well as overseeing service management for the entire company. Additionally, I focus on the continuous development and improvement of the existing infrastructure.
As a Supervisor IT Datacenter at EV Group GmbH for 1.5 years, I continued to perform the duties of an IT Datacenter Administrator while also taking on additional responsibilities. I began leading team members, learning about controlling aspects such as contract management and negotiation skills. I developed a deeper understanding of IT business needs in relation to datacenter operations and expanded my communication skills to effectively manage and support my team.
While at Megatech Communication GmbH, I handled customer communication and provided on-site networking support for clients throughout Germany. I worked extensively with Nortel Networking, gained brief experience with Avaya systems, and acquired initial experience with VMware.
In my civil service at the hospital, I transported medical supplies, documents, and equipment between departments. I assisted in the safe and comfortable transfer of patients between wards, operating rooms, and diagnostic areas. Additionally, I acted as a liaison between doctors and nurses, ensuring clear and efficient communication of patient needs and medical instructions.
At Lindner AG in Arnstorf, I provided 1st and 2nd level support, ensuring smooth IT operations for end users. My responsibilities included managing the enrollment of IT equipment, handling printer management, and overseeing user and rights administration in Microsoft Active Directory. Additionally, I gained experience in Unix/Linux administration and performed basic administration tasks on Windows Servers.
