  • Chief Executive Officer - Founder at Sowhatslocal & Hometec Assist
    Feb 2007 - Jul 2010 · 3 yrs 6 mos

Owner, founder and financial backer of my own Idea. SoWhat’slocal was a local event discovery platform, my primary function was to provide real-time information about events happening around you based on your personal preferences and GPS location. Whether you are at home or traveling, you can use my platform to search for events happening near your current location or in a specific city or region. You could filter the results based on your interests and preferences to find events that align with your tastes and hobbies. My platform used your GPS and Postcode location information to provide personalized recommendations for events happening in your immediate area, and also provided information about the distance to the event and how to get there. In addition, it offered features such as ticket purchasing, event reminders, and the ability to create custom event lists or share events with friends.
