Maurizio is responsible for the project development, investor and shareholder relations, as well as the business and customer development. He also conducts the transaction management, project implementation and management of all renewable investments. Maurizio has over 15 years experience as an entrepreneur, manager and general manager and works since 2007 exclusively in the asset class of renewable energies. During this time he has successfully managed and implemented more than 50 MWp renewable energy projects with a total transaction volume of more than EUR 100 million. In 2010, he served as Managing Director of Linea Italia Trovata the Italy-wide EPC project business. In 2011 out of a "Management spin-off" he co-founded the cleantech consultancy firm Pensato&Partners. In 2014 Maurizio launched Smile Capital, an investment firm specialized in developing alternative and green energy investments in Italy and across Europe. Maurizio holds a German diploma in Business Administration (Dipl. Kfm. FH) and a Master of International Business (MSc) degree from Munich Business School in Germany. He has studied abroad at SDA Bocconi in Milan and at Oxford Brookes University in the UK.
