Lead the Maritime SuperSkill project for Liverpool John Moores University. Developing apprenticeship programmes standards for Maritime Technical Superintendents (MTS) and Maritime Surveyors (MS). Specific Tasks: - Reviewed current FET engineering modules against knowledge elements of the standards. Adding any additional modules required by the standard, which are not currently delivered in FET Liaising with IMarEST to map the programme to UK Engineering standards IEng and CEng and gain accreditation. - Ensured that the guided learning hours for the programme match the guidance for part-time and apprenticeship delivery. - Suggested where on-line delivery may be an option and liaised with external providers if necessary. - - Worked with Knect 365 maritime to match some of their programs to MTS modules. - Collaborated with Trailblazers in the industry to develop apprenticeship programmes and shape new curriculums for maritime management in LJMU. - Design and development of E-learning materials.
Offered tutorial supports to MSc students. Responsible for delivering MSc Advanced Oil and Gas Management module covering the following areas, economical, financial, commercial and contractual activities in the oil and gas sector; Corporate and social responsibility in the oil and gas sector; Gas value chains: upstream, midstream and downstream; as well as assisting with the tutorials, and presentation assessments on UK energy policy linked to international energy policy frameworks and strategies; Key challenges facing the global oil and gas industry; Investment decisions in the oil and gas sector; and global energy security and the future of the oil and gas sector. - Provided individual feedback on the students’ presentations that they can use in their final reports.
