Academic Background I completed my BSc in Computer Engineering at the Budapest University of Technology and Economics. Professional Background I have over five years of hands-on experience using C# and PHP to create and implement software, web applications, and websites. I have worked with the following frameworks: Laravel, ASP.NET, jQuery, WordPress, and Vue.js. For my thesis, I developed a web application in ASP.NET MVC that helps overweight people lose weight and gain muscle. To showcase some of my work, I have designed and developed two web applications using the Laravel framework: DeviceTracker: This corporate governance web application assists construction companies in supervising workers, tools, and vehicles on a construction site. It includes an admin panel and a user mobile application (PWA), which communicate with each other. Every worker uses the system via a smartphone app. The DeviceTracker system is currently used by four companies. You can find more information at https://eszkozkoveto.hu/en. Whyz: A student helper web application for selling notes and books, and advertising private teachers. It is the only platform in Hungary where students can sell their notes online. Users can upload notes, and others can purchase and view them with the app's specialized PDF viewer. You can find more information at https://whyz.hu. I also have experience in WordPress. I support WordPress sites and WooCommerce webshops. Personal Background I enjoy being challenged and engaging in projects that push me outside my comfort zone, as continuing to learn new languages and development techniques is important to me. I'm a cheerful, positive person who enjoys outdoor activities and sports, especially biking, climbing, and kayaking :) . In 2023, I spent a few months kayaking and bikepacking in South America.
After moving to Switzerland, I started working for Peoplefone AG, a Swiss telecom provider. I work as a web developer on several company projects, primarily using PHP and the Laravel framework.
In my free time, I designed and developed two web applications, along with several smaller websites: DeviceTracker: A corporate governance web application that assists construction companies in supervising workers, tools, and vehicles on a construction site, based on their specific needs. It includes an admin panel and a user mobile application (PWA) that communicate with each other. Every worker uses a smartphone with the application. The DeviceTracker system is currently in use by four companies. More information can be found at https://eszkozkoveto.hu/en. After completing my studies, I started working at Bosch as part of the internal tool development team. We developed and maintained internal applications and provided support to other teams. I worked on a wide variety of projects, developing both desktop and web applications using C# and ASP.NET MVC.
While still studying, I developed and maintained multiple web applications and websites using the Laravel PHP framework.
Alongside my studies, I started my first part-time job, where I developed and supported web applications and websites using ASP.NET MVC and C#. In the summer of 2019, I qualified for the European Championship in professional kayaking, so I paused my work to prepare for the competition.
