In this role, I negotiated, developed and served as lead producer on branded content campaigns, series, and events, with budgets ranging from $100K-$1M. Clients included State Farm, HBO / WarnerMedia, and Target. This role spanned creative and logistical production support including building out custom-branded studios and identifying talent in alignment with brand goals and guidelines.
Developing, producing and supporting a slate of original podcast series, including hit franchises The Read, Brilliant Idiots and The Friend Zone. This role spanned network operations, strategy and business development including onboarding and launching new shows, and forming and nurturing relationships with audio partners, sponsors and vendors. Spearheaded live events for The Read and Brilliant Idiots, both now nationally successful touring brands, and partnered with key cultural events like A3C, Afropunk and Essence to amplify brand and connect with audience through experiential programming.
Producing and curating a daily selection of topical and culturally relevant music, news, lifestyle and entertainment-based content for radio affiliates nationwide. Interviewing A-listers and up-and-comers including DJ Khaled, Kelly Rowland and The Rock and covering events including award shows, galas and the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. Producing the syndicated weekend version of The Breakfast Club morning show and writing scripts for on-air personalities hosting live events including album release broadcasts.
Lead producer of HighLow with EmRata, an audio and video podcast hosted by Emily Ratajkowski featuring celebrity interviews, zeitgeist-y conversations and audience interaction.
Overseeing development and production of a full slate of original and branded content including audio, video, social and experiential series. Hiring, managing and motivating a team of 10-12 including in-house employees and freelancers. Working with clients, project managers, design, and business affairs team to plan and coordinate content capture including live-streams at SXSW, NYFW, Art Basel and SelectCon. Created radio boot camp program to provide training for music artists to prepare them for hosting Amazon Amp radio livestreams. Contributing to sales and pitch decks and supervising all stages of production, from pitch deck to final delivery.
Identifying, developing and executive producing and a slate of original and acquired podcast properties, with an eye towards titles positioned for transatlantic success in US and UK markets. Advising exec leadership and board on industry trends, best practices, positioning and sponsorship. Consulting on new show launches, marketing plans and cross-promotion.
