About

Big people-person with a love for problem-solving and design. Whether that means helping people directly with a technical issue, or designing a solution that doesn't cause issues in the first place, I'm most happy when I'm challenged to solve new problems and develop efficient business practices through data analysis and user-research.

  • Product Manager at Kit - kit.co
    Sep 2019 - Present · 6 yrs 10 mos

Kit.co is a free to use product recommendation platform for Creators to share the products they use in their daily lives, while also providing the ability to earn commissions through over 30 supported affiliate programs. Previously owned and operated by Patreon, Kit was unfortunately stuck in "maintenance mode" for a few years due to an inability for the original team to find a sustainable revenue model. In 2018 I pushed the Geniuslink team hard on taking on this challenge, confident that we had the skills to better manage the platform and provide a valuable and sustainable platform for creators, while also providing a great side-door to Geniuslink itself. Since acquiring Kit in 2019, I've been responsible for several projects needed to overhaul the site experience and stability, as well as providing a sustainable revenue model that helps us keep Kit.co free to use, but still profitable for our team. Due to the small size of our team, I manage most aspects of Kit.co myself, monitoring site performance, communicating issues with our engineers, gathering requirements, and developing new projects to add life to what was previously an abandoned platform. Our active userbase continues to grow in 2022, and I continue to look for opportunities to make this platform a valuable resource for Creators and Geniuslink!
