Matt was approached by Trascent to lead a CRE transformation project at HSBC, which sought to drive improvement to the bank’s real estate operating model and understanding of its data infrastructure. At the heart of the project was a drive to harness the value of real estate operating insight and AI intelligence to inform decision making and drive performance.
Matt was appointed by Barclays to advise on the reset of its Retail Acquisition Programme and lead the work to revitalise its retained high street presence in the UK. This involved over 50 projects across the UK, with an initial review of the End to End process the bank was employing and the roll out of an agreed and transformed methodology across the programme.
Matt was retained by this private equity backed distribution group to drive cost and operational savings across its diverse portfolio to support its restructure and refinancing.
Matt was retained by ICBC Standard Bank to lead the work on its real estate transactions in London, New York and Singapore, successfully leading the business to the completion of leases in these locations.
Matt was appointed by Lloyd’s Register, the World’s leading and oldest marine classification society, to head up the transformation of its global property portfolio following the restructure of its working practices. This involved over seventy international projects to realign its property portfolio to new ways of working. Matt lead on all property matters associated with LR’s business divestitures across over fifty countries, following the Board’s decision to dispose of its Energy and Assurance divisions in 2020. This culminated in an unprecedented amount of change in the long history of this esteemed business.
