As a member of the European Sales team I am the lead contact person international / OEM accounts of Chevron-Texaco Lubricants in Europe. Responsibilities: - Contract negotiations of national, European and global deals - Leading global Proof of Performance projects - Coordinating Texaco lubricants and coolants approval processes at OEM's Markets: - Power Gen: gas engines, gas turbines, steam turbines, power plants - Diesel engine OEM's: first fill, after market, private label - Compressor manufacturers: gas compression, cooling compressors, air compressors. CEFIC - Conseil Européen des Fédérations de l'Industrie Chimique . I represented BioMCN in CEFIC's methanol sector. That sector team coordinates the responses of methanol industry towards EU government, for example regarding: -REACH -Toxicity classification of methanol
BioMCN used to be active in the promotion and production of 2nd generation renewable biofuels and Biobased chemicals. BioMCN was an exciting start-up, operating the world's largest 2nd generation biofuels and biobased chemicals facility that does not compete with the human food chain. Reporting to the CCO, I am responsible for P&L of conventional methanol. Turn-over >100M euro. First task was a restructure of the sales department, including a divestment project. Responsible for sales of Bio-Methanol in Germany (the largest fuel market in Europe) and for global accounts. Additionally, I am responsible for the sourcing of logistics, like shipping, rail and road transportation contracts. On behalf of BioMCN I am member of the REACH methanol committee. Represent BioMCN on trade conferences like IP (International Petroleum Week), EPCA and IMPCA.
