About

I work as a knowledge broker supporting evidence based policy making for health and health systems. I have covered in my professional career a large range of policy and health system related topics. In recent years I have focused my activities as a knowledge broker on Health in All Policies (HiAP), health impact assessment (HIA), Health for All (HFA), health targets, inter-sectoral governance, the European Union and health services, primary health care, the European Union and health research, cross-border health care and health professional mobility in the European Union. The geographical focus of my work is the WHO European Region comprising 53 Member States. Our partners, collaborators and clients are governments, international and supranational organizations, academic institutions, health and healthcare organizations and non-governmental organizations. Specialties: As a knowledge broker I work with scientists and policy makers developing policy relevant study ideas, writing research proposal, securing funding, combining research teams, providing scientific leadership, developing written dissemination materials (including books, journal articles, briefs, summaries, newsletter articles) and face to face dissemination formats (policy dialogues, workshops, seminars, conferences and presentations).
