Involved in DevSecOps operations for an enterprise-wide system software used by the Upstream Finance department. Responsibilities include: -Writing and executing automated unit testing code to verify the intended functionality of codebase components and to improve the CI/CD pipline -Refactoring code to eliminate bottlenecks and address code smells and security issues identified by SonarCloud and Fortify -Refactoring code to improve the code performance by implementing techniques such as asynchronous programming, repository patterns and dependency injections -Assisting in the execution of manual test cases for software regression testing -Aiding in the resolution of bugs detected in the codebase -Collaborating effectively with multinational team members in accordance with the Scrum-Agile framework
- Overseeing the planning and execution of 32 career development initiatives (16 Online Employer Talks, 8 Career Workshops, 6 Industrial Visits and 2 Physical Employer Talks) - Crafting Business Improvement Plans (BIP) aimed to increase the students participation level on the career initiatives and recommending the best career initiatives content for students - Coordinated cross-departmentally within TEC to ensure the department's work timeline aligns with the main TEC work timeline and objectives
Spearheaded a team of 10 in persuading 55 companies to join UTP's largest career fair, bringing over 1,200 job opportunities and over 400 internship opportunities for UTP students while securing sponsorship amounting to RM 270,000, one of the highest numbers of participating companies and sponsorship amounts in the campus career fair's history.
