I am an engineer with a strong passion for aesthetics, user friendly design and strategic product development. I thrive in environments where I can bring people together across different disciplines and cultures. My technical training combined with more tan two decades experience in design lets me facilitate and manage development processes in a unique and very hands-on way. I bring a holistic view to product structure and development, and a cohesive approach to link product management, development and marketing for the best possible user experience from first introduction to everyday usage. I embrace agile methods as a means to keep focus and quickly react to the fast-changing user needs and technological opportunities. At the same time I approach product portfolios in a systematic way, with a strong focus on a long term, sustainable development strategy.
Reporting directly to Brüel & Kjær's head of software development, I have the overall responsibility for design and implementation of UX across all of Brüel & Kjær's software products, including desktop software, web and mobile applications as well as embedded UI. In addition to the managing and coordinating work to ensure user friendly, attractive and consistent user interfaces, I lead a team that creates mockups, art work (icons, splash screens) and maintains a common UI library.
As product manager I was responsible for marketing and production of the products in Occupational Health, Room Acoustics and Human Vibration. Thereby I overlooked a product portfolio of both in house developed products and products developed and produced in corporation with both national and international partners.
As an application specialist, I was responsible for the technical input to product development, work with customers to understand their application needs, and drive product documentation and training. I was responsible for products and solutions within Occupational Health, Room and Building Acoustics, as well as Human Vibration.
While working on my PhD thesis, I was responsible for the logistics of the masters program at Technical Acoustics Chalmers. While in this position, I would follow students in the program from application to graduation. In addition, I completely redesigned the website to make the program internationally more visible and attractive and to be the primary knowledge source for all course work.
While working on my PhD thesis, I was lecturer in two courses in the department's master program. The subjects of these courses where analytical and experimental modal analysis, with an introduction to the finite element method and last doppler vibrometry.
