Business orientated music professional working with several top international electronic music artists i.e. grammy winners, and with experience in every layer of the talent booking process (negotiations, artist strategy, operations, logistics...). My back-ground and study orientation are linked to Economics and Management, which gave me a particular set of skills I continuously improve by courses and self-study. I'm an independent global talent agent for several A-list electronic music artists, and co-founded one of the top talent agencies in the electronic music industry. We work daily with the biggest venues and festivals in the world.
· Talent Agent: lead booking/touring agent for a worldwide roster of 10+ international top-tier artist; generated artist revenue of over 2M Euro per year. Responsible for building our client´s touring strategy, negotiation of financial & operational terms, help with general music management & marketing strategy, overseeing of logistics (travel, VISA requirements, etc.) & legal procedures, supervision of financial & contractual obligations counter-parties, responsible of business development and expansion of markets (target events, clubs etc.). · Head of the Spanish company / European division: have been the key figure in constructing & filing the administrative requirements to legalise the Spanish company, constructed an operational system for accounting & administration, overseeing accounting & administration department, assembled the team of today & leading a team of 5+ people since 2018. · A&R: search for new talent & work on strategies how to acquire this talent. Co-responsible of building the client-roster for especially the European and Asian market. · New Business Development: responsible and traveling frequently to maintain & expand business relationships, prospecting new talent and events/venues, more notably negotiated a (non-standard) long-term business deal to help overcome the effects of the pandemic on the client´s and company´s revenue by designing a new business model with one of the main sample providers in the world. · Agent assistance: I was the executive assistant of first Matthew Hoag (Director of the EU Office) and afterwards Ryan Saltzman (VP & Head booker of The Bullitt Agency). My main tasks included assisting with preparing artist touring strategies, assisting with negotiation of deals, gathering event & promoter information, preparing pitch information for clients, enforcing legal obligations of the promoter, setting up meetings, arranging travel, market research, artist performance analyzations etc. · Head accounting EU office: was responsible for the financial bookkeeping of the EU office, managed funds for the office and budgeting in regards to operating & financial expenses, did price-estimations for the operational costs of the office, yearly budget estimation & analyzations for the EU office. · Head operations ROW territory: was the main responsible for the contracting & invoicing of all shows in the ROW (EU-Asia-Australia-Africa) territory, also responsible for following up of payments and enforcing contractual agreement, contact person for questions from all parties concerning contractual agreements. · Internal business systems: in 2017 was (with Matthew Hoag) the key-figure in regards to the incorporation of new booking system to be used by the whole company, led also the system enhancement project in co-operation with the software engineers and the founder of their company. · Market Research: Led the initial market research of the brand in close collaboration with the director of design & production. I was responsible for the search & listing of fabric suppliers, stores, designers... to build & expand the network of the company and help with new business development. · Production & design: Assisted the head of design & production closely with the process by i.e. gathering information on new fashion developments, assisting in the design process of new clothing patterns, implementing pattern-designs in the production process, finding new suppliers and producers, setting up meetings for new business developments, acquiring & listing new fabrics which were implemented in the new collection. · Strategy: Assisted in the construction & implementation of business strategy by setting up production processes, logistic coordination of the production process, acquiring key contacts for business development and automising production & sales process.
