In some way, my academical background (BA Philosophy, with focus topics AI, Ethics) finally united formally with my experience in digital marketing and process design, when I was appointed ethics advisor for two Deep tech innovation projects funded through the EU Horizon program. While at it, it became clear that there must be a better (leaner, more efficient, formally clean) way of conducting such ethics assessments. Consequentially, I enrolled in an Innovation Management MBA program and used the thesis to develop a method that blends 3000 years of ethical thinking with the latest AI / LLM methods. With the framework created, I support tech startups in different industries with their Horizon EU (or similar) ethics assessments/ ethics reviews, and advise on all things tech- and AI Ethics and compliance related. ethaas.de
Led / conducted ethics/compliance assessment in the context of a substantial EIC funding (Horizon Europe) for a scaleup's (7 years, 150 employees) innovation project in the field of satellite-based earth observation.
