Current areas of work: predictive maintenance for injector systems, automated medical data quality control, IQ metrics for MRI reconstruction
Areas of work: automation in data quality control workflows, e.g. multi-modal models (LMMs, bi-modal transformers) for PII/PHI detection, content-based medical image/video retrieval, automated DICOM series labelling, automated medical image/video deduplication, vision embeddings, metrics for medical image similarly and quality assessment, generative models (GANs, diffusions) for MRI synthesis
Leading a data science group specialized in machine learning, medical imaging and medical audiology. Broad portfolio of projects in the areas of Radiology, Ophthalmology and Oncology. Our contributions include fundamental research, generative modelling in the field of contrast media and ML development for companion diagnostic systems.
Scientist at Philips Research Department for Digital Imaging. Working on machine learning methods for clinical imaging products in various modalities (CT, 3D ultrasound, X-ray) covering applications in musculoskeletal imaging, echocardiography, fetal screening and chest X-ray analysis. Research on continual learning and vision embeddings in the presence of domain shifts.
Research at the interface of probability theory, optimization and financial mathematics. My work focused on investigating a duality relation between certain diffusion type stochastic control and convex optimization problems on topological pairings. Numerical applications of semi-infinite linear programming and PDEs. Supervision of courses and student projects (mathematics/mathematical finance).
