I am a senior Executive at the German American Chamber of Commerce. Our focus is assisting German companies with market entry strategies. We primarily work with companies that are interested in export, import or investment in the southern US and Germany. Focus industries include automotive, renewable energies, cleantech, biotech, medical devices and machinery. We draw from a network of more than 700 member companies in eleven states of the southern US. We hold more than 60 networking events and participate in and host more than 15 industry-specific conferences per year. Highlight events include our annual Southern SME Forum and our Annual Gala, the largest German-American black-tie event in the south. Because of the nature of German businesses that are headquartered in our region, much of our member base is consisted of manufacturing, logistics and industrial companies.
