My Inspiration: To turn ideas into reality I started my career as a software engineer working in automation for GEA. Soon I began to work on and lead different interdisciplinary teams focused on customized engineering solutions for our customers. Through my time at GEA I have developed my passion for agile methodologies, entrepreneurship and startup culture. After leading an internal GEA startup myself, I nowadays spend a lot of my time coaching my team to apply those principles in daily work and reach their best performance. To drive the transition towards a digital company in our division I drive the development and execution of the digital division strategy, IT infrastructure and support GEA to make its first successful steps into the digital transformation.
With Data Driven Services we drive the major digitalization activities inside the division. We also align requirements with IT and drive infrastructure projects with support of suppliers like SAP and Microsoft. Our Focus areas include Divisional Digital Strategy, Master Data Management, Business Process Automation, Smart Services
With Digital Solutions I help to develop, drive and implement the digital company strategy. On top of that I support project teams with developing customer centric digital products/services using agile methodologies. This includes methodology development, team coaching, project management and support with self-management and leadership. Based on my experience I am the main contact person for Digitalization, Agile Development, Design Thinking and Visual Thinking. I like to support others and share my knowledge by giving talks and doing exchange meetings with interested companies and peers.
Leading the software development teams for process applications. This includes PLC, HMI and Scada system programming. Also responsible for project management and internal alignment of all customer order related software implementation. Supervision of bachelor and master thesis for R&D activities.
