Application Engineer / Advisor - Directional Drilling in the Drilling Services Central Technical Services (CTS) Group - Global Products & Services (GPS) - Central Service Delivery (CSD): Subject Matter Expert for Advanced Drilling Systems. Providing skilled level support for Product Line, Geomarkets and the Regions, technical selling, key field product application, and/or product performance. Assisting with prototype tool applications (advising Product Line and Engineering, performing System Integration Testing and Field Testing) and new product market introductions in the region or on site. Investigating unusual or unsatisfactory product performance to determine root cause and preventative action. Owner of Operations Manuals and Procedures. Providing advanced seminars and training (train the trainer), webinars, and online training; supporting the Trainings Department with both creating new and revising legacy trainings. Lead global/regional technical projects or customer response teams. Handling special projects, as assigned.
