How could we improve our knowledge in chemistry and about the universe?

About

I am a Chemist how who understands him self as interested in general chemistry with a focus on inorganic materials synthesis. Within my PhD at the Technische Universität Dresden Ionic Liquids (IL) catch my attention and now I am mostly working in understanding how we could synthesise new materials in them but also on synthesising knowm materials at low temperatures ressource and energy efficient. Therefor I worked with a variety of characterisation methodes like PXRD, SCXRD, FT-IR, Raman, UV-VIS, NMR (solution, liquid and MAS solid state), TGA-DTA, DSC, CV and EXAFS, not limited to ambient but also under inert conditions. In addition I always like to widen my base of knowledge, currently in magnetic measurements and classical solid state, flux and hydrothermal synthesis.
