I am a recent graduate from the University of Manchester, graduating with a 2:1 BSc (Hons) Degree in International Disaster Management and Humanitarian Response. I am currently working as a ramp agent at Manchester airport, open to step foot into a new career, having had work experience in many customer-facing roles with varied responsibilities. I am a keen follower and player of football, and spend my free time socialising with friends, exercising and discovering new places.
Responsible for the safe loading/unloading of baggage and cargo, guiding aircraft to gates, operating ground service equipment, and ensuring on-time flight turnarounds. My specific role also includes deicing aircraft.
I worked as a retail assistant at Abercromibe & Fitch Co for the first few months of the year alongside my students union job. This was to support studies as well as helping me to manage my time and workload effectively. It was a valuable job experience, and my first time working within clothing retail.
Worked as a picker within a warehouse for 6 months to support my studies during my first year at University.
For my winter break between 1st and 2nd year at University I became a self-employed delivery driver for Evri. I worked for 3 months delivering parcels around my local area, managing workload and time constraints effectively.
