He led the project from concept through a $20M raise, token launch, the Gaia AI Phone on Samsung Galaxy S25, and the formation of the Gaia Foundation to sustain the OSS project. At Consensys, Matt held multiple leadership roles — Director of Developer Relations, Head of DAOs (Tokenecnomics), and Director, Fellowship Accelerator. He shaped developer GTM and token economics strategies for 400k+ developers across products like MetaMask and Infura. At J.P. Morgan, Matt bootstrapped a developer community around Quorum, the open-source enterprise Ethereum platform. He built a 50+ member global Ambassador program across 25+ countries and drove the visibility that laid the community groundwork for Quorum's acquisition by Consensys (‘20). At AngelHack, as Director of Community Development, he grew the global developer base from 50k to 200k members across 75+ countries. His team organized 700+ hackathons for Fortune 500 companies including Mastercard, Motorola, ABInBev, RBC, Barclays, US Gov, UBS, and more.
