About

Matt Wright is Co-founder, CSO of XO, building agentic workforce infra for teams. XO ships one-click agents like OpenClaw and Hermes that run in isolated containers on Kubernetes and route to any model, compute, cloud, infra with integrations across the tools teams already use — Cursor, VSCode, Nvidia, and more. It's the agentic infrastructure layer of the agent economy: the place where agents actually run, route to models, and do work. Currently 100bn+ /mo AI token throughputs. He is also Co-founder, CEO of Evm Systems, a venture studio building infra for the billion agent economy. For agents to become economic actors: AI for capability (models, compute, context) and Web3 for citizenship (identity, reputation, governance, payment rails, open infrastructure). Evm Systems builds across the stack: inference (Gaia), execution runtimes (XO), cloud-and-hardware compute, and advisory for startups and enterprise. In 2024, he co-founded Gaia, a decentralized open-source AI infrastructure network that grew to 710,000+ nodes, 30+ trillion inferences, and 110+ strategic integrations with partners including Coinbase, EigenLayer, ENS, MetaMask/Consensys, BitGo and Moonpay. He led the project from concept through a $20M raise, token launch, the Gaia AI Phone on Samsung Galaxy S25, and the formation of the Gaia Foundation to sustain the OSS project. At Consensys, Matt held multiple leadership roles — Director of Developer Relations, Head of DAOs (Tokenecnomics), and Director, Fellowship Accelerator. He shaped developer GTM and token economics strategies for 400k+ developers across products like MetaMask and Infura. At J.P. Morgan, Matt bootstrapped a developer community around Quorum, the open-source enterprise Ethereum platform. He built a 50+ member global Ambassador program across 25+ countries and drove the visibility that laid the community groundwork for Quorum's acquisition by Consensys (‘20). At AngelHack, as Director of Community Development, he grew the global developer base from 50k to 200k members across 75+ countries. His team organized 700+ hackathons for Fortune 500 companies including Mastercard, Motorola, ABInBev, RBC, Barclays, US Gov, UBS, and more. Outside of these roles, Matt co-founded DAO NYC, and has organized some of the most memorable events in crypto — including Korea Blockchain Week Official Afterparty with Chris Lake, Metahills in Beverly Hills with TOKiMONSTA + Ayybo, Gn at NFT NYC w/ Claude VonStroke (featured in TIME), and Gaia Launch Party at Token2049 w/ Diplo. One-click, composable agentic runtime for 24/7 agents in production. Like an agent Airbnb — we arbitrage reserved and spot compute to give fleets the cheapest scalable infrastructure available. Kubernetes shifts agents across capacity so they stay live 24/7 at spot prices. Context lives in your workspace, agents get cheaper to run over time. Bring your own everything — any harness, model, cloud, data. OpenRouter, Claude, Codex, OpenClaw, GCP, EC2. Drop in your model keys, we hand back containerized agent teams running in 60 seconds: scoped permissions, persistent memory, 24/7 uptime, governance baked in. Agent-agnostic, managed, one-click deployment. Get in touch! EVM Systems is a venture studio building infrastructure for the billion agent economy—across inference, AI infra, and agentic payment protocols. The largest unbanked population in history is coming online—and they are not human. Billions of AI agents are arriving as economic actors without identity, without reputation, without financial access, and without the infrastructure to participate in the economy they are creating. We're building sovereign, open-source Gen AI agent networks. GaiaNet is a distributed AI infrastructure that aims to decentralize the current AI agent softwares, paving the way for a new era of decentralized AI interaction and application. Instead of setting up centralized servers, GaiaNet is harnessing a distributed network of edge nodes, controlled by individuals and businesses, to host AI models based on their proprietary domain knowledge and expertise.
