Aspiring engineer pursuing a Mechanical Engineering B.A.Sc. at the University of Toronto, with a specialization in Mechatronics and Solid Mechanics & Design, and a Minor in Business. I’m a hands-on problem solver with a passion for mechanical design, stress analysis, and fluid mechanics. My professional & academic journey has sharpened my ability to learn quickly, equipping me with a well-rounded toolkit: from CAD (SolidWorks certified), programming (python, C++), and ANSYS (stress analysis) to manufacturing and VBA automation. I believe strong teamwork and continuous learning drive success, and I strive to live by that mindset. I’m driven by curiosity am eager to enhance my leadership skills and deepen my knowledge through industry experience. Feel free to connect with me to discuss stress analysis, mechanical design, or any shared interests (or tennis—I’m a certified coach too!).
• Supported the design and implementation of the project execution plan for an industry-leading interactive threat assessment system through data analysis and visualization, enabling precise strain relief monitoring • Authored Engineering Justification documents and stress reports, ensuring compliance with technical standards. • Modeled “new construction” gas pipeline facilities in AutoPIPE per CSA Z662/ASME B31G, simulating environmental and loading conditions to verify structural integrity. • Completed various stress analysis types including preliminary calculations, linear elastic beam modelling in AutoPIPE, and nonlinear elastic/plastic beam modelling using Abaqus • Assessed over 100 facility stress concerns including problem identification, stress analysis, remediation definition, and communication with stakeholders • Independently developed a VBA tool to automate laser scan validation, now adopted as standard practice for US & Canada field teams. Trained head technicians on implementation, significantly increasing data processing time efficiency and eliminating manual errors • Displayed diligence when conducting verification of integrity field data, which is utilized by various integrity programs
• Researched and designed in SolidWorks a benchtop drivetrain dynamometer concept to evaluate the efficiency of alternative shaft driven drivetrain for use in a human-powered aircraft competition. • Engineered a modular drivetrain interface, facilitating comparison between chain and shaft driven systems, using interchangeable mounts and couplings for reconfiguration. Validated with ANSYS FEA and vibration analysis • Fabricated prototype to determine feasibility, scalability, and performance. Leveraged 3D printing and repurposed mechanical and bike components for cost savings and rapid prototyping. Gained experience with multiple manufacturing processes including 3D printing, Carbon-fibre layups, and machining.
• Responsible for overseeing a team of 15 bussers and delegating tasks to ensure restaurant operations ran smoothly • Learned to assess, prioritize, and efficiently complete tasks when working under high-pressure conditions • Tasked with opening and closing the restaurant, keeping track of inventory levels, interacting with customers and using problem-solving skills to rectify both customer’s and manager’s/worker’s issues • Created an organized strategic system for the bartenders to increase efficiency by approximately 30% while being adaptable enough to anticipate any obstacle during a shift
• Coached various sports to children with intellectual disabilities and built relationships with them • Organized events and helped promote awareness of the volunteer opportunities at UWCSEA • Supervised and trained new student volunteers, delegated tasks and led warm-up activities.
• Taught seniors from the local community how to effectively use their tech devices • Responded to participants’ queries and worked with them to troubleshoot – help was based on what they asked and I was required to tailor my answer to what the desired outcome was • Aided older adult learners to develop and practice tech skills to help them build confidence and embrace technology
