-Management of all equipment & apparel for all sports teams and staff -Ordering of all equipment & apparel for the entire Athletic Department -Issuing and maintenance of all athletic equipment and team apparel -Overseeing of Jones Convocation Center and its locker rooms & office spaces -Assist in hiring of potential coaches and staff members -Acquiring of sponsors for athletic department -Assisting with events such as basketball games; management of gameday staff -Supervision of all student managers -Overseeing of an over $400,000 equipment and apparel budget for the entire athletic department
•Preparation and maintenance of game day footballs •Following and enforcing proper Covid-19 safety protocols
● Fitting and issuing players the proper and safest equipment ● Delegating assignments to student managers in preparation for practices and gamedays ● Ensuring proper COVID-19 protocols are followed within the equipment room ● Managing of apparel for both athletes and coaches ● Washing, drying and putting out of daily laundry loops for players and coaches ● Set up and break down of CoachComm units used on gamedays for on field communication ● Working as a team with coworkers to meet the day to day agenda ● Vast knowledge of sports products from companies such as Adidas, Riddell & Douglas
Managing of apparel for athletes and coaches, issuing out equipment to each athlete, communicating with other student managers to ensure each day’s agenda gets done, setting up and breaking down of practice fields and game fields, repairing broken equipment, setting up coach’s headsets for practices and games, ensuring practice runs smoothly each day
