Providing insight for, owning and delivering various projects to streamline ordering within our Supply Chain, to modernise systems, achieve multi-million pound waste savings, and improve in-store availability of stock. Role includes data analysis, modelling, algorithm design, working with technology teams, and engaging with and training operational colleagues.
Responsibilities included: working with technology teams to roll out system improvements, using SQL and Excel to analyse large datasets, running simulations of possible system changes, liaising with store colleagues and other colleagues around change projects.
Responsibilities include organising catering for regular hot meals for up to 120 students (doing the food order, overseeing cooking teams); leading bible studies and discussions with between 2 and 8 students; mentoring individual students; working with team of 4 on medium-term planning of student term events. Internship also included one training day per week, with topics including communication, personality types (Myers-Briggs), vision for an organisation and theology.
