I am a Film & Media graduate of London South Bank University with over a decade of experience at IKEA In college studying Computer Science I had to take on a project for an existing company. I approached PAN Services LTD and agreed to build them some bespoke software which was very successful. After college they hired me as their IT Specialist where I was able to gain experience with secure networking and multiple programming languages. I started with IKEA when I was in university for an increase in income and they have been a very good employer. I have gained many skills from them including creative problem solving. I was able to demonstrate this during the Covid crisis when I was awarded “IKEA entrepreneur of 2020” for my creative solutions for organizing and running day to day operation of IKEA’s click and collect sales system. I am an avid writer and write many short stories and screenplays in my spare time, I have been building computers since I was a teenager both for myself and as a source of extra income and have a growing interest in Virtual Reality which I regularly micro-blog about.
