Responsible for ensuring the long-term growth of players on and off the field, and driving a consistent, coordinated approach to player learning and development. Responsibilities include: - Designing and implementing a fundamental skill program for the entire playing list. - The management of 1st-4th year players education program, including football and off-field education. - The management and coordination of all staff influencing player development, including coaches, performance mindset, and wellbeing teams. - Coordinating Individual Development Plans and focuses for each player. - Ensuring a consistent measurement and evaluation process for player development. - The development and performance of the ruck group.
Responsibilities included ruck coaching, midfield development coaching and various football operations tasks.
Responsible for managing the accreditation, education and regulation of AFL player agents nationally. Key roles included: - Designing and coordinating the accreditation process for AFL Accredited Agents, including the accreditation exam and Player Agent course. - Delivering ongoing professional development and education to 90+ Accredited Agents through annual conferences, state forums and monthly online seminars. - Managing the regulation and governance of AFL player agents, including redesigning the Accredited Agent Regulations, and implementing an online portal to facilitate professional and respectful player approach processes. - Serving as Secretary of the Accredited Agents Board. - Providing education on player agents and the player management industry to all AFL talent pathways across Australia. - Building and maintaining strong relationships with Accredited Agents and key industry stakeholders including the AFL, AFL clubs, talent pathways, prospective agents, players and parents.
