Worked full-time as an intern under a team in the Capital Markets/M&A department. Performed tasks such as preparing contractual documents for clients, vetting IPOs for companies who wanted to be listed on the Singapore Exchange (SGX) and guiding clients on the fulfilment of the legal requirements of being listed on the SGX. Had the opportunity to interact with lawyers from the other departments within the firm, such as Corporate Real Estate, IP, and Family, gaining a better understanding of what the work in those practice areas entailed.
