As part of the Darlington upgrade project, Matthew was the Senior ITS Project Manager delivering a $9M fully managed motorway as part of the $650M project completed by Gateway South. Matthews position required • Team building and mentoring of a tight nit project team. • Contract development and management • Detailed design of the managed motorway system • Full cost, schedule and quality management • Management of the procurement of project materials • Management of Subcontract and suppliers • Tier 1 contractor Client management • Manufacture of cabinet and panels. Darlington upgrade project high lights include • 26 x ITS Cabinets with 4 hour UPS back up and redundant fibre networks • 100 x Field gantry, barrier or wall cabinets. • 7 x Traffic signal cabinets for control of key ITS infrastructure • CER building Including o 6 CER cabinets o Electrical fit out o Communications o Security fit out o 1 hour UPS backup o and 8 Generator backup of complete CER building • 88 x Thermal Imaging Camera’s (TID’s) for auto detection of pedestrian, stopped vehicle and dropped object detection on the managed motorway. • 42 x PTZ cameras for coverage of the managed motorway including surface roads • Type A and B VMS Signs including gantries • 80 x LUM’s Signs for automatic speed and lane management of the motor way. • 3 x CMS signs • 2 x TiRTLs • Full integration of the systems to Steams and IndigoVision. Including FAT, SAT, SIAT and OST testing
