Working as part of a design team with an extensive and broad skill set we provide bespoke luxury treehouses, ecolodges and play areas. I have worked closely with the tech, art and design teams to develop, test and implement art styles, pipelines and tools for games on the PC, PS3, Wii, Xbox360 and PS Vita. Tech Team Working with artists and coders to agree specifications for VFX tools. Created HLSL shaders for Blitz new FX system. Vitalise Created a system of reusable pooled particle systems that were utilised by animation events and game scripting. Epic Mickey 2 Worked closely with graphics coders to develop HLSL versions of Disney’s R3Mt shaders and implement them to create effects for the Xbox360, PS3, PC and PS Vita versions of Epic Mickey 2. Spongebob Surf & Skate Roadtrip Created all the effects in the game. Fanastic Pets Xbox Kinect Developed environments, shaders, materials and particle fx. Dead to Rights Retribution PS3, Xbox360 Created industrial environment assets then lit them in a noir fashion them using Blitz tech.
Eye Toy Factory PS3 I was working with a team to create a style guide to turn classic Eye Toy Play titles into downloadable PS3 games. Eye Toy Creature Feature PS3 I produced an incredible array of levels in an unbelievably short space of time. Home PS3 I designed and created lobbies along with other assets for Home using the new ATG technologies. Fired Up PSP I designed and built the final level and created a wide range of vehicles and other art assets. Getaway Black Monday PS2 I worked with the vehicle team to create a wide array of vehicles to tight deadlines. Hardware PS2 I created vehicle assets for the game with some having to be conceptualised first.
I worked as a graphic designer for this small company creating:- Technical manuals (in a variety of languages) Brochures Presentation graphics User Interfaces Web pages I used Illustrator, Photoshop and PageMaker.
I completed a four year apprenticeship consisting of two years learning how the business works and two years as a technical illustrator in the technical publications department working on aircraft manuals and brochures. I used pen & ink, ellipse guides and airbrush.
