I have over 11 years of experience working in pipeline and mechanical integrity. Currently, I work as a Project Manager for Integrity Specialists, llc., overseeing asset integrity projects for transmission pipeline companies. Previously, I worked as a senior NDT technician for Integrity Specialists, llc., where I performed NDT inspections, coating inspections, and CP inspections on transmission pipelines. Competencies: NDT methods (MT, PT, UT, PAUT), NACE Coating (CIP2), NACE Cathodic Protection Technician (CP2), Creaform Handy Scan, ECHO 3D, ECDA, ICDA, burst pressure analysis, pipeline mitigation and repair installation.
Manage NDT personnel and oversee the NDT inspections, documentation and reporting for large-scale anomaly, re-coat, verification, EMAT and high-priority projects on natural gas transmission pipelines. Write and update current company procedures and forms for various inspections and mitigation techniques. Train company personnel on proper inspection techniques, documentation and reporting. Create and foster good relationships with existing and potential clients.
Worked on an anomaly and recoat project for a natural gas transmission pipeline company and performed the following duties on a daily basis: Pre-excavation area surveys, pipeline soil classifications, soil resistivity surveys, coating evaluations, pipe-to-soil measurements, coating evaluations, pipeline deposit evaluations, pH measurements (soil and pipeline), external corrosion direct assessments, internal corrosion direct assessments, damage (dent, gouge, scratch, etc.) assessments, girth weld and long seam weld evaluations (utilizing conventional UT and phased array UT), burst pressure analyses, mitigation and repair installation oversight, documentation and reporting of all inspection results.
Performed UT thickness measurements, magnetic particle inspections, dye penetrant inspections. Wrote reports detailing the results of the inspections. Performed external corrosion direct assessments and internal corrosion assessments on an anomaly and recoat project for a natural gas transmission pipeline company.
