Hey there, My name is Matthew Hardy-Brown and my personal motto for life is to live often and smile more. It’s simple. There’s something innately pure about this concept, and I’ve always felt it especially easy to do while in nature. When I’m not working, I’m probably surfing, hiking, swimming or just listening to music. I grew up in South Africa but moved to Melbourne, Australia just over 10 years ago. After traveling to Western Australia in 2021, I was introduced to some of Australia’s most magnificent beaches, and thus, my love for surf photography was born. The unique appreciation for capturing the raw, uncontrolled, and unpredictable moments in life, especially those in nature has directly translated into the media I create. Over the past few years I've been privileged enough to work alongside industry leading and renowned companies like, Mini Australia, GoPro and Paramount Pictures to name a few.
