-Assume the role of Intelligence Officer in his/her absence -Lead, direct, train, and supervise the Marines of the 2d Marine Regiment Intelligence Section -Assume the role of Lead Intelligence Planner for all Regimental Exercises and Deployments -Provide, manage, and supervise the production and analysis of all-source intelligence in support of the Commanding Officer, Staff, and subordinate Battalions -Identify intelligence requirements, supervise the requirements management process, and execute the intelligence cycle during all phases of planning and operations -Develop and refine information flow with higher, adjacent, and subordinate units and create a dissemination plan for all intelligence information and reports -Advise the Security Manager on all matters pertaining to security and the safeguard and handling of classified materials; act as the Security Manager in his/her absence
Signals Intelligence Liaison Officer from 2d Radio Bn to 2d Battalion, 8th Marines as part of the Black Sea Rotational Force 15.1 -Serve as the 2d Radio Battalion Detachment Officer-in-Charge -Act as a liaison between the Radio Battalion detachment, Black Sea Rotational Force 15.1 (2d Battalion, 8th Marine Regiment), and the host nations for Military-to-Military (M2M) engagements -Establish Low-Level Voice Intercept (LLVI) M2M program in support of European Command (EUCOM) Theater Campaign Plan -Supervise the creation and implementation of the LLVI Curriculum by providing oversight and expertise on course materials and lessons -Establish an engagement program with the Romanian Navy in Constanta, Romania in order to provide cryptologic support to Black Sea Naval Operations by serving as the Signals Intelligence liaison -Serve as the Intelligence Operations Officer -Serve as the Black Sea Rotational Force 15.1 Intelligence Officer as required
-Formulate plans, orders, and instructions necessary to implement the Commander's policies and determine the effectiveness of their execution -Coordinate, synchronize, and supervise routine administrative requirements and accountability of equipment and personnel -Plan, organize, and recommend company training to meet Battalion Mission-Essential Tasks (METs) and assigned missions -Perform collateral duties as the company's Family Advocacy Officer and supervise Oversight and Compliance procedures, Uniformed Victim Advocates, Substance Abuse, Suicide prevention, Violence Prevention, and Legal Services -Represent the Commander or serve as the Acting commander, as required -Responsible for administrative actions within the company to include Command Chronology, Company Newsletter, Staff Update, Staff Actions, and submission of weekly training schedules
Advisor Team Leader in Afghanistan from August 2013 to December 2013 -Maintain overall accountability of all Marines, students, and equipment -Act as a liaison between the Low-Level Voice Intercept (LLVI) Team, Regional Corps Battle School (RCBS), and the 215th Corps Advisor Team, as well as any other supported/supporting units -Provide oversight and expertise on course materials and lessons -Provide logistical and administrative support for Marines -Create and maintain course materials and ensure that updates are completed as needed -Provide an after-action report (AAR) on course materials, conduct, and overall class posture -Ensure adherence to the schedule and task instructors accordingly -Conduct classes and practical applications in accordance with the curriculum -Ensure that safety is paramount at all times -Know the location of the nearest Medical facility -Know and implement the procedures in the event of indirect fire (IDF) or green on blue incidents -Know and implement the reporting procedures for questionable traffic collected during the class Platoon Commander -Provide leadership and training to all Marines, ensuring the platoon is properly trained, equipped, and prepared to effectively and efficiently accomplish all assigned missions -Responsible for the accountability and maintenance of all personnel, classified material, controlled cryptographic items, weapons, and equipment assigned to your platoon, amounting to over $9,000,000 in assets -Train the marines to standard and ensure that they are prepared for deployment and temporary assigned duty worldwide -Responsible for daily conduct, safety, and welfare of all personnel; supervising all administrative correspondence and related events -Develop professionally and increase technical expertise in the signals intelligence and Marine Corps intelligence communities -Become familiar with pertinent collection, reporting, and production requirements, United States Signals Intelligence Directives (USSIDs)
