Dr. Frigon. has 20 years of environmental water and wastewater experience, specializing in biological treatment. He is currently the Laboratory Manager at EnviTreat in addition to his engineering responsibilities. EnviTreat is a lab that focuses on analysis of biological systems for degradation of wastewater. Tests include aerobic/anaerobic degradability, toxicity, biochemical methane potential (BMP), chemical loading assays, and bench scale system operation to determine feasibility and develop data for full scale system design. Dr. Frigon has worked on the design of a number of water, municipal wastewater, and industrial wastewater facilities. Dr. Frigon is also experienced in hydrologic analysis of stormwater and design of low impact development (LID) facilities and passive stormwater treatment systems for both control of runoff volumes/rates to meet water quality objectives.
Envitreat is a lab that performs testing for the application of biological systems for the degradation of waste. System testing may be for existing systems (trouble shooting/upgrade) or proposed systems (develpment of process parameters and/or conceptual design). Matrices include water, slurry, and soil. Biological systems include anaerobic and aerobic activated sludge, attached growth, MBR, MBBR, granular sludge blanket. Envitreat also performs physical chemical treatment method testing including filtration (sand. micro, ultra, nano, RO), advanced oxidation, coagulation/precipication.
Serves as a senior engineer. Responsible for: - Design of water, wastewater, and stormwater treatment facilities. - Operation and maintenance of a groundwater treatment facility. - Evaluation and testing of water and wastewater samples (lab work). - Development and testing of novel treatment technologies. - Developing a relationship with between US and Chinese environmental engineering marketplaces - Developing the Georgia market with regard to water, wastewater, and stormwater management/treatment.
