In working on all three tiers of insurance brokerage firms: multinational, regional and family-run brokerages, I have been able to bring a wide spectrum of insurance and financial services experience to Platform. Through raising private and public capital in the Real Estate Development and Capital Markets fields, I have been heavily involved in the GTA markets and understand the ebb and flow of a complicated yet influential sector. In doing so, I have been instrumental in closing successful large scale transactions including land acquisition, IPO’s, limited partnerships and mortgage investment corporations. At Platform, I have been able to offer a significant understanding of project finance, debt syndication and commercial insurance, allowing for sound investment protection and innovative preservation strategies to clients who are anxious to grow their business. Now as President of Platform, I have the privilege of working with a team of seasoned experts to establish insurance and bonding strategies for many Contractors, Builders and Owners within the construction and development sectors in Canada, specifically in Toronto and Vancouver.
