• Investigating the mechanistic differences between heterogeneous and homogenous catalysts in catalytic transfer hydrogenation reactions. • Created a recyclable catalyst for use in the reduction of CO2 to formate using glycerol as a hydrogen source under batch and flow conditions. • Synthesized a series of highly recyclable heterogeneous catalysts for use in carbon-carbon coupling reactions • Developed method for immobilization and characterization of silane functionalized heterogenous catalysts. • Manage laboratory inventory and critical instruments including glovebox, GC- FID, FTIR, UV-Vis and microwave
Developed and tested new cyanoacrylate adhesives for large-scale production and worldwide distribution, including a line of flexible cyanoacrylate adhesives for use in medical devises. Improved upon and modified current adhesives to meet customer specifications and requirements. Managed and maintained large databases, and day to day laboratory operation.
