Leading the APAC region internal control function including rollout of corporate, regional and local initiatives. Functional management of local internal control managers across Hong Kong, Macau, Korea, Thailand, Singapore, Australia and New Zealand. Management of annual internal control declaration to LVMH group, maintaining the strongest regional internal control environment in Dior. Performed regional compliance reviews and rollout of the LVMH compliance marketing tool for the region. Continuously worked with all back office functions to setup new or revised operational procedures.
Lead the store audit team to perform audits in over 1500 stores in Hong Kong. Store audit SME for North Asia, spearheading the transformation to a risk based approach. Setup of store audit functions in Philippines and Macau. Preparation of audit committee reports for senior management. Active support of operational audit and loss prevention functions.
Part of the internal audit team based in Hong Kong, working on internal audits for British Council offices mainly in Asia and the Americas. Lead audits for the whole process from planning, work allocation, field work to reporting. Reviewed and formulated action plans for all areas of the operations, including Teaching and Exams, Project Management, Procurement, Finance and HR. Performed stakeholder engagement review for stakeholders in East and South Asia. Regular meetings with corporate and regional stakeholders including compliance, data protection and counter-fraud teams. Extensive use of SAP (procurement and finance) as part of audit planning. Assisting in drafting of the annual audit plan using a risk-based approach. Regular follow-up and reporting on the status of audit findings to the Audit Committee.
Performed internal audits (operational and financial) in Asia Pacific mainly for the health and beauty business. Worked on different processes in the retail business including Trading, Supply Chain & Logistics, Stock Management, Non-trade Procurement, HR, Customer Data Governance, and Store Operations. Leading and coordinating audit projects in different APAC countries. Presentation and discussion of audit findings to business unit's management. Follow-up on audit action plans with business units and reporting of implementation to group management. Mentoring of new joiners to the team.
