Matthew is a driven real estate development professional with over twenty years of experience in leading teams to success on major developments. He has represented a wide range of developers, investment funds and joint ventures. He has held client, consultant, and contractor roles across all major asset classes. Matthew currently leads Omnium International’s project management business. He completed Harvard University's Real Estate Investment Certificate, graduated MSc with Distinction in Project Management and Construction, and is an RICS Chartered Project Management Surveyor, Assessor and Counsellor.

Reporting to the Real Estate Director, key responsibilities of this post were: • Day to day Client management. • Responsible for ensuring the technical deliverables of the project are well defined and achieved. • Produce and maintain project information including project plan, financial reports and programmes. • Manage the resources of the project to achieve the Client brief including international multidisciplinary project teams. • Report and manage progress to the Project Director and Client as appropriate. • Manage project finances (including fee splits, resource plans, working capital and subcontracts). • Provide input for Bids when required.

Major Projects: • Knightsbridge Student Housing, Huddersfield, £25m. • Knightsbridge Student Housing, Oxford, £15m. • Guinness Northern Counties Housing, various affordable housing schemes, £4m. • Victoria Halls Limited, refurbishments at various sites throughout the UK, £1.5m. • Crown Transformation Programme (bid), provided bespoke responses to ITT and represented the company at the final interview, £70m. • Capital Management for a leading UK hotelier (bid), provided bespoke responses to the Request for Proposal, £150m.
Reporting to the Project Manager, the key responsibilities of this post were: • Management of HSQE as set out in the Project Management Plan. • The execution of work on site. • Regular liaison with the Client team and other project stakeholders. • Management of sub contract works & weekly sub contract meetings. • Communications with design team in respect to construction matters. • Maintenance of good industrial relations. • Material Procurement. • Management of labour and plant required for project. • Attend progress and technical meetings. • Implementation of project management procedures. Major project: • Assisted with the delivery of the £6m refurbishment project to Mount Stewart House, an 18th century Grade A listed building which was also occupied for the duration of the works.
