I write words and craft content to inspire, inform, and move. From a young age, I was immersed in language and always saw it as a powerful tool for connection. In my work, I always strive to create a human, valuable experience between brands, people, interfaces, and everything in between. Music also plays a large role in my life. I play in a band which regularly performs and has recently toured for the first time.

At Picnic I’m jointly responsible for all words and communications we publish, and for championing the Picnic voice and brand. Notable Projects: Careers site Wrote all copy (NL/EN) for Picnic's new career site. Oversaw translations to DE/FR. Configured all copy (Wordpress). New invite email journey (Customer team) Conceptualised and executed a completely new e-mail flow for onboarding customers. This new flow led to a significant increase in FOC (first order conversion). Runner recruitment campaign (Recruitment) Together with a team of creatives, I launched a social media campaign to recruit more Runners. I was prominently involved in the whole process, from the initial strategy to writing caption copy. The campaign was highly effective and outperformed our old advertising assets by a significant margin. UX writing (Store) From error states to seasonal promotions, I write copy for the Picnic app, which has hundreds of thousands of active monthly users. I am also involved in user testing and A/B testing this copy and iterating based on quantitative and qualitative findings. And many more. Including crisis communication and PR (dry ice shortages, fires, etc.), social media copy and strategy, and advertising campaigns.
Award winning creative digital agency focused on creating human digital experiences and products. Clients include ING, Grandvision, Albert Heijn, and the Dutch government. In these projects I work together with designers, developers, researchers, and many more experts. I work as a UX writer mainly, but also as content manager and brand (voice) strategist. Finally, I also helped organize the UX writing awards, the first prize given to outstanding micro copy in The Netherlands. Notable projects; • CoronaMelder (UX writing & translation) – NL & ENG I translated and wrote UX copy for the official Corona app of the Dutch government. Working together with a team consisting of a variety of experts from different organizations, I ensured the complexity and importance of the functionality of the app was communicated concisely, effectively, and understandable for all users. The app is currently being used by more than 3 million inhabitants of The Netherlands. • FINN by ING (UX writing, strategy, content management) – NL & ENG Finn is an IoT start-up by ING which offers a platform to add autonomous payment to IoT devices. I joined the team as UX writer and brand voice strategist, and later took on the role of content manager. For FINN I: o Created a brand voice and values o Applied this brand voice to write all web copy, content, and interface copy o Grew the LinkedIn company page from conception to 1300 Likes o Took on the role of content manager
Tasks: - Setting up a comprehensive SEO strategy for all AIA content based on quantitative performance analysis of previous content - Creating a extensive internal and external communication and content strategy for the Accenture Innovation Awards (AIA) - Website maintenance (Wordpress) - Social media management - Copywriting and translation (websites, blogs, social media posts) I was also part of the team which intensively worked together with a third party marketing organization to create a new website for the AIA from conceptualization to go-live.
